The Art Institute of Atlanta offers many culinary programs including a BS in Culinary Arts Management, a BS in Food & Beverage Management, an associates degree in Culinary Arts, an AS in Culinary Arts: Concentration in Baking & Pastry, an AS in Wine, Spirits & Beverage Management, as well as Dipoma programs in Culinary Arts: Skills, or Culinary Arts: Baking & Pastry. Founded in 1991, the Culinary Arts program of the Art Institute of Atlanta operates on a quarterly calendar and is accredited by both the ACF and SACS. Total enrollment across all programs is about 3187 students. The facilities include 5 teaching kitchens as well as numerous labs and classrooms. Admission requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an essay, and SAT/ACT or COMPASS test scores. BS degree candidates must have 2000 hours of culinary work experience and an associates degree in either culinary arts or baking and pastry arts. Both scholarships and student loans are available to qualified individuals. Housing, although not included, is also available.
