Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Sullivan University's National Center for Hospitality Studies has a total enrollment of about 700 students. They are in 18 month programs leading to an AS degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, Hotel/Restaurant Management, and Professional Catering. Or 36 month BS/BA programs in Hospitality Studies. Or 9 to 12 month programs in Professional Cooking and Professional Baking. The school was established in 1987 and is accredited by both the ACF and SACS. There are four admission dates a year, and the academic year is on a quartely calendar. Admission requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and satisfactory basic test scores. Financial aid is available to qualified applicants. The resident faculty includes 26 instructors and 2 adjunct faculty members. Each student is required to fulfill a practicum related to his or her course of study.
